Resumé/Bio

Professional auctioneer Heidi Hill began in the auction industry in 2003 with her husband Troy; together they established their own auction company in Northeast Oregon.  After working as a clerk, cashier, and any other job that was necessary to help the auction run efficiently, she decided that it was time to set sail in a new direction.  In the fall of 2005 Heidi was off to World Wide College of Auctioneering.

Heidi has been fortunate enough to make positive strides in the auction industry.  She organizes and conducts auctions that vary in scope from business liquidations to benefit auctions.  In 2006 Heidi was named the Northwest Rookie Champion Auctioneer and in 2009 she was a finalist in the International Auctioneer Championship in the women’s division.  Most recently on February 14, 2010 Heidi became the first female auctioneer to be awarded the title of Oregon Grand Champion Auctioneer.

Heidi is a firm believer in the benefits of professional membership and continuing education.  She is a proud member of both the Oregon Auctioneers Association and the National Auctioneers Association.  Heidi currently holds her CES (Certified Estate Specialist) and BAS (Benefit Auction Specialist); these are specialized “professional designations” offered via the National Auctioneers Association.   Continuing education has given Heidi a deeper understanding and appreciation for the elements necessary to conduct a successful auction.

Outside of auctioneering Heidi has an extensive background in the Medical field. With more than 13 years experience as a nurse, she continues to utilize her formal education.  Heidi graduated in 1997 with a degree in nursing from Montana Tech.  Not only did she graduate with honors but she was also named the most outstanding nursing student.

Whether working with an executor of an Estate or the Chairman of a non-profit organization, Heidi is perceived as the consummate professional.  Her organizational skills and ability to adapt make her a true asset to various organizations.

In her spare time Heidi enjoys mountain biking, fly fishing, hiking and reading.  She also enjoys a quiet walk with her husband Troy and two dogs on their ten acres.
